GET NOTICED! SECRETS to Create a Ready-Made Audience
No matter how good a writer you are or how great your book/article topic is -- if you don't have an audience your brainstorm baby may flop. In the real world, editors/agents/publishers care about if you are a known expert in your chosen topic. In other words, do you have a ready-made audience?
The fact remains, folks think they can write a book and it will sell all by itself. Not true. My class will help you get real. I will teach you step-by-step how you can get that "P" word or "platform" (the buzz word that gets you noticed) in the competitive world of selling your work.
This class is about how to recognized and accomplished in the topic you are writing about so your book/article will get the attention it deserves. I will show you the tricks of attracting an audience:
How to team up with high-profile individuals who do have a ready-made audience. This can be done several ways (i.e., forewords, co-author, etc.). Or, how to choose a topic that comes with a ready-made audience.
Why getting your own website is a must-do to get noticed.
Ways to get active in your chosen topic so you become an expert before, during, and after your article or book is published.
How to get involved by giving seminars or lectures and other ways to become and activist and link your efforts to your work.
The latest scoop on sending out press releases, newsletters, etc., to spread the word about your knowledge.
How to get known by sending emails to organizations and associations both nationwide and worldwide so you get known as an expert in your chosen topic.
More strategies, from getting an agent to being your own publicist, to establish yourself and get known as the go-to person in the public eye will be provided.
By the end of this seminar, students can expect to have a ready-made audience so when your article/book is published people will be ready and waiting to buy and read it ASAP.
